Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Kent Tech Inc (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Fresynco Canvas mobile application and related services (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information we collect

Fresynco Canvas is designed to collect as little as possible. We do not ask for your real name, and the App has no password. You sign in with a username only.

Information you provide

• Username. The display name you choose when you start using the App. It is visible to friends you connect with.
• Friend connections. When you add someone using their friend code (or they add you), we store that you are connected so your canvases can sync to each other.
• Canvas content. The drawings (“strokes”) you and your friends create: colors, brush widths, and the coordinates of each line. Strokes are stored so canvases stay in sync and survive app restarts.
• Abuse reports. If you report a user, we store the report (who reported whom, the reason category, and any optional details you add) so we can review it and keep the community safe. Reports are retained even if the reported account is later deleted.

Information collected automatically

• Account identifiers. A unique account ID, a friend code, and an access token generated when you first use the App, used to authenticate your requests.
• Push notification token. If your device supports it, a push token (Apple Push Notification service or Firebase Cloud Messaging) so we can wake the app to refresh your canvas when a friend draws.
• Technical & advertising data. Our advertising and analytics providers may collect device and usage information such as a device/advertising identifier, IP address, app version, and crash data. See Third-party services.

2. How we use information

• To create and maintain your account and friend connections.
• To sync canvases in real time and deliver strokes to the right home screens and widgets.
• To send silent/background push notifications that keep your canvas current.
• To provide, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the App.
• To show ads and to process the optional one-time “remove ads” purchase.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. Information is shared only as needed to run the App:

• With your friends. Your username and the strokes you draw are visible to the friends you connect with. That is the point of a shared canvas.
• With service providers. Companies that host our servers, deliver push notifications, serve ads, and process purchases on our behalf (listed below).
• For legal reasons. If required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or the App.

4. Third-party services

The App relies on these providers, each with its own privacy policy:

• Fly.io: cloud hosting for our backend and database.
• Apple Push Notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google): delivering push notifications.
• Google AdMob: serving advertisements (iOS/Android).
• RevenueCat, with Apple App Store / Google Play Billing: processing the optional one-time purchase. Payment card details are handled by Apple/Google; we never see them.

5. Advertising

The free version of the App displays ads through Google AdMob. Ad providers may use device and advertising identifiers to serve and measure ads. You can limit ad personalization in your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking and Apple Advertising; Android: Settings → Google → Ads). Purchasing Remove Ads turns off in-app advertising.

6. Data retention

We keep your account, friend connections, and canvas strokes for as long as your account is active so the App keeps working. Canvases are append-only but limited in size, so older strokes may be pruned automatically once a canvas grows large. When you ask us to delete your account, we remove your account data and strokes from our active systems (see below).

7. Your choices & rights

• Clear your canvas at any time from within the App.
• Remove friends to stop sharing canvases with them.
• Delete your account and data directly in the App: open the menu on the home screen and choose Delete canvas. This permanently deletes your account, your canvas, and your strokes from our servers. You can also email us at kent@kenttechinc.com with the username you'd like removed, and we'll delete the associated account and strokes for you.
• Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. Contact us to exercise them.

8. Children's privacy

Fresynco Canvas is a general-audience app suitable for everyone. It is not specifically directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country) without parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted (HTTPS/WSS) connections between the App and our servers, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice in the App.
